That sucks about your voodoo-blue....
As i have posted before, "" My dealer paid 350.00 towards a touch-up" I had a Dupont rock guard put on, that follows the body lines nicely, ( the 3m kits just annoy me, the way they look )
If you don't cover your bases you will be out on your own. Toyota, hasn't said there is an issue, but the dealers seem to be the front line on handling the problems. I have no compliants, at this point.
I can say I have over 32k on my FJ now, traveling in between Utah, Wyoming, Montana and Idaho, since I put my dupont on, " ZERO " chips. My windshield is the original with two hits )
I go Fly fishing in some pretty rough areas, to get into. and still very happy with the over all FJ purchase.

I have a Vodoo Blue. It is 5 months old and has 5800 miles on it. I have one chip that was caused by a golf ball sized rock off an F...ing gravel truck; it got the hood and the windshield. Beyond that, nothing. I suppose if you live in a road sanding environment, it's inevitable, but here in Calif, no chips.
