I am really wondering if anyone has heard about how the colors of the FJ is produced. It seemed in my area, at first I only saw Sun Fusion and Voodoo....then we seen some Titanium and Blackand have only seen 1 Black Cherry. Seems pretty rare.So..is it based on preference or just the way it is here? I'm getting BC and should pick it up next wk! Any insight????

I think it may just have to do with what the dealers preference and special orders are.
Before I bought mine, I had only seen 2 in my area, both Voodoo Blue. I test drove a Black Cherry before ordering mine and it was off the lot less than an hour after I placed my order.
I have still yet to see a black or titanium in my area. I have the only yellow I have seen, and have seen 3 blues.
I love it that there are not many around here though -everywhere I go people are asking me "what kind of truck is that" or what kind of toyota is that"..

Yeah, thats exactly the way it is here.So Twinkie..what color u get? I had a dealer (tried to take me for an idiot...$3000 markup) tell me black cherry was scarce because it was least desirable, but they seem to never be on the lot w/out already being sold. It just seems like their is all kinds of blue and yellow..so hopefully after I get mine in a wk I'll have a lot of gawkers too.

BC is not leat disirable......it is the least produced. (making it more disirable). Blue and Silver are the most produced followed by black. Yellow and Black Cherry the fewest. Certainly color is a personal choice and someone will like each color. If you want to see a Black cherry go here:

Hey Man, thanks for the info. Seeing pics of your Black cherry(I'm assuming its yours) just verifies I made the right choice. I've only seen 1 and it was a long while ago, so I'm glad to see that you took some pics in the sunlight too. Thanks again.
