Thanks david,
I'll have to check the replacement Roof Rack Rails they list for the driver's side and passenger's side. Maybe I can build my own with just the side rails and the crossbars!
At least the whole rack is On Sale For: $487.50.
And talk about a bargain... check out the sale for washers.

Took the top bar off, so it's just the lower, smaller bar.

Can the top rack be mounted without the lower bar? It looks like the top is mounted to the lower section and can't be used without it. If it can be mounted R_R, are you willing to part with the top part?

The top, longer part of the rack mounts to the lower part. Although anything is possible....
Unfortunatly, the top part of my rack is tweaked a bit. I got the whole rack for 75 bux because someone found out the hard way that their Cruiser doesn't fit in their garage.
On a side note...I must have seen your twin. Someone hauling a 10' pipe in their FJC.

Festivus is only a couple of days away! I'm sure there are many rack-less FJ owners who need to get their aluminum pole home in time.
