Prior to my Voodoo Blue FJ I drove a 2000 Ford Explorer. Oh wait I still do -- FJ won't be in my hands until Aug 2 and wife is keeping her Explorer.

I gave up looking for a 6 speed version after looking for two months - automatics every where. My wife waltzes into the smaller local Toyota Dealer, ask for the general manager by name -- I guess he is one of their customers. TWO days later he calls and says the FJ cruiser has been loaded on a truck and is on its ways.

Canuck packaging: 6 speed manual with the "C" package. Oh yeah only other options ... Trailer hitch and passenger arm rest.

You spell color like my mom does. She is from PEI.

2002 Tacoma 4x4 is still my daily driver. My FJ and Tacoma do look good side by side in the garage thought!!! Before those.. 97 Blazer and 86 CJ-7 (last year for those..luckily had a factory d44 rear...gave it to a friend who had been drolling over it for about 10 years!).

I used to drive a 93 Toyota Pickup (what I called pre-Tacoma). That truck got me through a lot of sticky places, but after 185,000 miles, I was starting to have engine problems (undiagnosed). During shopping for a new vehicle I was debating between the 06 Tacoma, XTerra, and Rubicon...then the FJ came out. Still haven't regretted that decision!
