I'm happy with my '07 and plan on customizing it all myself.
I agree that Toyota needn't attempt another 4-Runner with all the gimmicks of a Cadillac Escalade. That's for the people living down in Palm Beach with more money than me. I prefer the good ole' rednecked woods attack. If I could find a way for the rear wrap window to open like they do on a mini van, that would do wonders for me when the old hound dog begins to fart in the back seat!
