I was playing around with my daytime running lights the other day, and saw a bunch of unused wires under my hood. It got me thinking of my free A-Trac. I don't have cruise control in my truck. But I thought, because it has the "drive by wire" (meaning there is no mechanical connection between the gas pedal, and the engine, that the cruise must be controlled by the computer. Now, as far as I know, all the computers are the same in the trucks. So, I'm thinking if I get the controls for it (swithches etc.) It just might work. I'm gonna do some research, and give it a go. I'll report back when I find out. It might take me a while, though.

Ya know... The only bad thing about getting my FJ loaded with every option is I don't get to get to participate in the "lets see if we can get this for free" modding

One of my favorite things about vehicles, is modifying them. This doesn't really count, but it's close. You could participate by telling me the colors of the wires coming out of the control lever. Also a pic of anything cruise related under the hood could be handy.
