ok ok so you caught me. the filter i used is not a real k&n (couldnt find one witha 4" opening) it was just what ever they had on the shelf at the local pep boys, although i still plan on replacing it with the K&N cold air kit when i come out. But it does seem to make a slight change in onverall output. i do feel slightly smoother throttle response. I did have to gut the stock filter and use it for a spacer/seal for the airbox to cover joint.
