I pull a 17 ft Casita with mine. Very nice combination. Took my family on a road trip to southern New Mexico from Oklahoma in August, covered about 1900 miles and averaged 16 mpg. Worst was about 13 mpg and best was about 22 mpg. I use a weight distribution hitch to keep FJ level.

I wondered about towing, but man I'm really really happy with the performance. Best SUV on the market by far.
