Thanks for the reply. With Gas at 3.45 for premimum this may help.

Buy reg, and add a $1.24 octane boost.

you get the same result as Premium at the octane level.

So far I did this twice, no issues, I took it to Tunex ( emission and tune up place ) had them check the output on the O2 sensor, both times: it came out the same.... Once with adder on ereg, the next on Premium...

I'm in Utah alt 4300 average, your results may vary, HA!

I am now experiencing similar problems on my 2007 FJ with little over 17K on the O.D. I am very concerned and here is the issue with my vehicle:

I recently went out on a short trip and suddenly when upshifting I noticed the engine light, ATRAC and VSC lights come on in unison. I just had Toyota install what they termed an intake control motor. Sounded fishy but I drove away satisfied and still under warranty.

No more than a short 10mile stop down the road for the afternoon at my local garage and then leaving for home 1/4 mile back up the road the lights are all on now again and this damn thing is bucking like a rodeo bronco in 2nd, 3rd &4th gear...similar symptoms would be a clogged inline fuel filter. This vehicle had seen minimal offroad use and is not abused. Filter & oil change at the local dealership since new.

Do I smell a fish.

Please contact me with your full story, I'm about to write a letter to corporate about this problem.

Thanks,

camerax
