I just cut the harness today and installed the rear speakers. HUGE DIFFERENCE in sound. Huge paid trying to pop the harness clips.

Wires are there in all FJ's
You will need the Wire harness connectors

I got this from crutchfield

065S35 Boston Acoustics S35 3-1/2" 2-way Speakers 69.99
12071040 Toyota Wire Harness speakers, 1995-up 0.00
237XT32 XTC 3-1/2-inch pair Slim Speaker Baffles 6.99

I got this from ToyotaPartsSales.com.
Speaker Grill LH Driver Side 86279-35020 B0
Item: GRILLE, SPEAKER, LH $18.40

Speaker Grill RH Passengers Side 86269-35020 B0
Item: GRILLE, SPEAKER, RH $24.79

Toyota Subwoofer Switch #86171-35010
Wires are there for the subwoofer also (even if you didn't order the sub) so I got the switch to add a Bazooka tube

Took all of 15 min to put in
Had to drill holes for the screws otherwise no modifications
I used the baffles to be sure the speaker magnets wouldn't touch any metal

those speaker grils ur talking about are the rear ones corect? also how did u hook up a bazuka tube through the stock subwoofer switch?

Can you tell me how you installed the Bazooka? I want to do the same b/c the current sound quality is very poor and I have the FJ Jammer system (w/o the sub). Also, why did you go with the 6 1/2 Bazooka vs the 8" or 10"? Did you get an adapter harness from Crutchfield to plug n play the Bazooka with the wiring that was already in the FJ? Have you replaced the door speakers and fronts also? I am trying to keep the stock FJ Jammer head unit and have everything look "stock" (with the exception of the Bazooka) but just trying to figure the best way to do a simple upgrade. Thanks for thelp.
