They make an aftermarket set of map lights. I think they were on Ebay.

Hello,
I've installed the visors in 10 minutes. I did remove a small plastique locator from the visor instead of finding or drilling a hole in my roof interior. It was useless, the the screws are good enough.

The biggest annoyance on that vehicule are the rear doors. Although I knew that rear access would be more tricky, I never though of Shopping mall parking...
It is an exercice to get your kidds off the SUV when you got cars on both sides and the parking slot is narrow.
A sliding mechanism would be far more efficient for that aspect.

After having my FJ for over a year now I would have to say that my biggest complaint is the fact that I love driving it so much that it is costing me a small fortune in gas! But there could be worse things....
Please don't piss on my leg and tell me it is raining...

Definitely the cruise control, which is useless on anything but a straight, flat road. It doesn't sense the slowing of the vehicle when you start up a hill until it slows to 3-4 mph below the set point, then actually accelerates up the hill to a speed that's 2-3 mph over the set point. Very inefficient, and very annoying, but easily avoided by turning it off and using my foot....
