OK. You guys convinced me. The low $300's isn't a problem, so I'll look on Ebay when I'm ready. Winter is setting in here so I'll probably buy the gear over the winter and look forward to installing it in the spring.

I bought the toyota hitch kit because the relay and parts protects your wiring and if you short it out it shuts it off hopeully before you melt all your wiring. I hope I put the instructions to reset it in my glove box. watch ebay for the metal hitch itself because lots of the aftermarket bumpers require you to remove the stock hitch so they should start poping up used and then buy the wiring NEW ebay, trd source... you can get atleast 25% under the dealer price.
