It finally happened about 4 weeks ago. A little crack has become a huge crack and not it's time to get it fixed.
I've heard rumors that South Carolina law required insurance companies to fix it at no cost to me..
Sounds great if it's true, anyone know for sure?

I do not know about South Carolina but it is true for those of us who live in Florida. (just in case anyone was wondering)

That sounds too good to be true. We have to at least pay a deductable.

I'm not sure about a law. I do have glass protection through my auto insurance for a minimal cost, it's well worth it.

I guess that I can join this club... not that I am really interested though...
The near vertical windshield is not very resistant to rock damage... I had a very tiny chip and now it is a crack across the whole bottom of the windshield following the defroster vent perfectly.
