Does anyone have pictures and instructions on how to wire up a cb radio to the fj's fuse box? Sorry, sounds like a dumb question but I'm not too familiar with how car electronics operate.

The CB should have it's own inline fuse. You could just tap into the cigarette lighter power wire. That way it will shut off when you turn the key off. If you wire it directly to the battery, it will stay on regardless of key position. A CB will kill your battery over time. You could even wire it into the radio wire. I just have mine wired to the lighter socket.

Another option is to wire the cb's power wire to the fuse box at the radios fuse. Then power will be switched on/off with the ignition.

Do you have any pictures of where you have the CB mounted in the FJ? I've been thinking about putting one in but have never done it before.
