Maybe it's just me, but that looks extremely minor to me.
They are rock sliders, they are there to protect the body...mine are all scratched to hell! But that's just me.

Yeah, but if it had just been scratched I would have been fine with that. But the "hole" that was piss poorly filled in with some sloppy welding and then painted on the outside of the bend in the tub was just too much. I agree, they are going to look like sh!^ anyway after they get abused, but I would like them to look decent for a couple of weeks at least. I don't want to put them on already damaged, considering they are brand new.

Simple answer.. I'll sometimes buy damaged stuff, if I get a 50% discount. For 50% off, I might be willing to refinish them myself. For the full price, I'll not take second quality goods.. Ron

Hi guys, I just started distributing in the U.S. for off-road accessories. We sell everything you need from skid plates to sill protectors. I can assure you this is the best quality you can find. All of our products are made from 5052 aluminum and 6mm thick. The website is
www.rasta4x4usa.com
toll free (877) 973-2411

We are offering a 15% discount through the whole month of February for Toyota accessories.

I know this has nothing to do with the purpose of the original topic in this thread, but I thought I'd point out a problem with the skidplates available from this company. It states:

"laser cut from 5052 aluminium and CNC press formed. Replaces the thin factory sheet metal with heavy duty steel"

It might be a simple typo, but it makes a big difference what material is used...is it aluminum, or steel? I don't think I'd ever want a skid made from aluminum...
