I have read many consumer reviews and either a person loves it or hates the FJC. I fell in love with it myself, test drove one and read a lot of reviews both technical and consumer and now have mixed feelings.

I love the look and the ride but an worried that it is over priced (not a good value) and may have mechanical problems and the problem with high octane fuel.

Can anyone give me their experiences of ownership? I would love to get one but an tenative at the moment about making a bad purchase. I am currently a Jeep Cherokee and Wrangler owner and want to make the move to FJC.

Thanks, Kenneth from New Orleans, LA

For the price you can't beat it. Have a look at what you get for the same price. I can't see buying American made after this... Not that there really is such a thing as an American owned car company anymore.

My FJ under 22,000. Same comparison tahoe or yukon 35,000. Why does GM offer such a long warranty? Because they know your going to have problems. Been there, done that!

Toyota is a proven manufacturer. To prove it, ride around all the lots and see what make you see the least off, "Toyota". Why? Most keep'em until hell freezes over after purchasing them. Well maybe not that long. Really its a fact!

I have owned them all and have went through all the headaches. Bought my first Toyota last year, now own three with no problems, good fuel economy, excellent rides and all have a good comfort level.

2006 - Taucoma 4dr
2007 - Camary
2007 - FJC - Sun Fusion

Part of Toyota family!
