only issue i have had with my CD player was the Ludacris cd the prep-guy left in it during make ready. Has worked like a champ (2 years) ever since I trashed the cd. The MP3 palyer is the only way to go, IMHO

My problems have been a little different. On a couple of occcasions, the readout appeared to be in some extraterrestrial language, and a couple of times the volume control didn't work. Luckily it wasn't at my usual volume level when that occurred. No further problems lately though. I should also say that switching to JL Audio speakers was a revelation. I hate to say it, but the O.E.M. speakers are the cheapest I've ever seen.
