Thanks for your comments and I welcome any additional ones. I think that I am going forward with my purchase of the FJC. I really like this vehicle. The need for high octane gas is still a bit of a bother.

As far as Jeeps are concerned, I must be one of the lucky ones that have had little to no problems other than basic maintanence over the last 115,00 miles.

And I've had no problems running the low grade either (87 octane) - just the decrease of mpg. It actually seems cheaper and better for the engine to run a higher grade.
