has anyone installed the Gobi rear end ladder? How does it attach? does it create wind noise at highway speed? can you still some how open the rear window? What about visability out that side of the rear window?

I haven't installed one, but a buddy has. It clamps to the top and bottom of the door. You can actually use it. The window won't open with it installed.

I installed one on my FJ and it works great. There is no additional wind noise either. The ladder bolts on to two clamps (which remain attached) so it can be removed pretty easily if need be. The only issue I have is not being able to open the back window but I rarely opened it when before.
