I've been wanting to make one of these for a while, and since I'm going camping this weekend, I thought I would make one. This keeps the 3 potential leakers out of the truck. Water jug, fuel jug, and cooler. I used scrap steel I had lying around from other projects, and used a bender I have. I am not the greates fabricator, but I'm sure I saved myself a few hundred bux making it myself.

I like it. I know a lot of people haul their own to the local dump and it is a big, messy job.(You have to pay big $$ for the local contractor to pick up household trash here.) That would allow some lucky wanna be FJ owner who is sitting on the fence to logic out how they don't have to buy an open bed truck and can now have an FJ!
HEY - it might come in handy for my family's dirt bikes - save us from hauling a trailer - I want one that would hold a dirt bike. That would be really handy for me.

Looks flippin sweet. Great idea, also liked that it's from re-used parts. Sometimes I wish I had that kinda stuff laying around but my wife has spent several years training me to throw stuff out, even though I'm sure it will come in handy one day
