hey just installed a new jvc 7in display dvd and cd player along with the i pod interface and stearing wheel control interface every thing works good except it seems that the bass cabinet is not functioning as well as it did with the factory radio the wiring kit that came with the radio had only two wires to connect for the rear speakers a positive and negative wire for each left and right pillar mount speaker. my question is does the rear speakers attach to the bass cabinet then run up to the actual speaker or is there seperate line running to the bass cabinet that i should be looking for . the bass speaker does work but seems to be no differnt in sound when i flip the switch turning it on or off

Sorry I don't remember as my install was a while ago.

There is an electrical/stereo wiring diagram in the manuals section you may want to take a look at.
