Hi guys, I was wondering if you could help me out here. I imported a yellow FJ Cruiser here in the Philippines and according to the manual, an oil grade of 5w-30 is to be used. However, Mobil1 here doesn't offer that product here but instead they have the Mobil1 5w-50 (supersyn) and I was wondering if this is ok. We have a pretty hot weather here. Any info is greatly appreciated. thanks.

I ran mine for 500 miles on Organic oil..

I have run Syn Mobil 5 - 30( wimter ) 5 - 50 (Summer) since.. I have to get my 5 - 50w from the Mobil dealer.( not sure what they mean by Supersyn, though )

No issues yet, runs great, even pulling my boat, and trailer into the mouintains in Utah here...
