e-bay's got an airaid intake system for $230 shipped, locally around $300.00. I e-mailed one guy who bought it off ebay and he said he can feel a difference. They claim 15 hp at the wheels and 12 ft/lbs. Anyone got any feedback on this? or any other system avaialble?
Thanks-Bill

Installed mine today, and yes there is a noticeable difference. Have to watch the lead foot though, does cause the needle on the gas gauge to move faster to the left. I purchased mine off of e-bay for $226(no tax and shipping was free). Was several days delay in getting to me as item was backordered as demand appears to be fairly high. Better to install it with a K&N filter as it is much easier and is supposed to work better.

I have the TRD high performance air filter. It's probably made by K&N or similar manufacturer. It requires cleaning and oiling occasionally. It probably won't have as much gain as a stock FJ would have.

has your dealership questioned you on the installation of the intake. I sold Air Raid at the parts store I worked at and it seems to be a dealership to dealership acceptance of aftermarket accessories on new units. Toyota seems pretty big on the performance but even still how are you getting along with your dealer.

I installed mine yesterday, I got it from gforce motorsports for about 240.00 no shipping charges. i noticed a little bit of differance but i havent reached my 1000 mile mark yet so ive been taking it easy. I want to do my headers next, that should meake a big differance.
