A good friend installed one on his Scion and said it deffinately gave more power but dropped his MPG by 5. I am sure the drop would not be as drastic because the FJ's don't get 35 mpg but there will be a sacrifice. I am happy with power I have for now.

I would like to know, just how loud this unit is, at freeway speeds and WOT.

Just installed a new airraid intake and there is for sure hp +, most noticable in 3 gear and up (6 speed std). Just heads up on the install, I almost forgot to put in the 2 plugs into the back of the factory filter cover that you reuse. I picked mine up actually at the dealership. They ordered it in for me and only charged me $350 canuck which is about 300-325 yankee. This included freigh, and is covered under Toyota warranty because it was purchased threw the dealer. Something to possibly try if worried about warranty or even deals.

Do you know if Airriad is making a throttle body spacer for the cruiser yet. I have used them on many other vehicles and they have been well worth it.

Went in my local accessorie store today, the owner approches me and offers a airride cai and install for free. Couldn't believe what I was hearing.

So whats the catch, he said I had bought so much from him, he was offing this for the FJ and wants me to only tell his customers the truth on what I think of it.

It will be here tommorrow, best deal I do beleive. I don't think I could save much more. Git-R-Done!
