You also realize that if someone buys it from you for 45,000, they again have to pay 8% PST based on the purchase price. They will be paying $4000 too much.

The best option for everyone is to return it to the dealership, because they will buy it back from you and reverse the tax that you paid, bringing the price back down to 37,700.

You would not be doing any favours selling anyone your FJ for 45,000. I know your intentions are good but return it if you haven't already.
