Is there any truth about the paint chipping for the voodoo blue on the FJ. I have seen alot of links on the web with complaints about the paint chipping. i just bought a new 2007 fj and it has a chip on the door already. is this just bad luck or is there an issue with the paint?

not sure about hearing about paint chipping, I have a black one and I also have a chip on my door but at the edge. I also have a little chip on my white roof. I am going to have to touch it up, I have noticed it rust color a bit.

This is the first I have heard of this issue and I am online a lot... I am going to have to look around for this, I have a few scratches but no paint chipping. Is it from rocks or other debris hitting the vehicle?

no mine just appeared not rocks or anything. it is chipped on the edge of the door. i bought the vehicle 3 days ago and noticed the chip 2 days ago. also looking at the paint around the chip the blue paint is extremely thin. i have never seen paint on a vehicle this thin before.

I just bought my Voodoo Blue FJ at the end of november and noticed a small chip in the drivers side door appear out of no where. Im gonna take it back to the dealer to get it taken care of.
