What is the sences when it comes to cold air intake? What have people tried? I was thinking of going with the TRD due to the fact that I have a TRD SE FJ, but I also want the best! K&N, Valont,Airaid,URD,Injen, afe? What do you cats think? I was also pondering a URD suppercharger. Anyone put one in yet?

Airaid, was what I choose. It isnt as loud as the TRD kit, and was easier to install..

The airaid is also about 100 bucks cheaper. I got the trd also, but I am ordering the airaid tonight. Check Ebay.

What does the TRD sound like? Were there any hp gains? Do you have a pic with it instaled? Why are you getting another intake?

the TRD kit if you look at it:

it draws air from the same small hole the standard intake uses ( choke air flow point )Also because that is within 26 inches of your passenger body well, the sound travels right into the cab.

It isnt horroble, if your want Rumble

the Airaid draws directly from behind the light, making better air flow, with no flow restriction points. and making it a true cold air draw too

if your looking at it for true power, not rumble....
