Hello everyone. I am new to the FJ thing. I used to own a Jeep before. I wanted to know which spacer lift would be best. I only want a spacer lift, because I want a little lift to level it out. I don't want to have to put huge tires on to make it look right b/c I want to keep my gas mileage. Comfort is also a huge issue. My jeep had a 6" lift on it, but i got crappy mileage and it rode like a war wagon. I don't want the hassle of the new coils, shocks, etc. Just something easy. I've seen daystar ones where all four spacers are polyurathane, but Trailmaster and Skyjacker have Billet Aluminum spacers in the front and polyurathane spacers in the rear. Which is better? Any feedback would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.[

The Trail Team guys told me to go to All Pro for accessories, I would check there first.

You are better off with a real lift. Spacer lifts will do one of 2 things.
1 Spacer will go in with the spring, and pre-load the spring to make it stiffer, which makes it taller. Results...rougher ride.
2 Spacer will go on top of the strut. Gives same ride, but now it will over-extend your CV's causing sore feet. (The walk home when it breaks)
Spacers in the rear will over-extend your shocks, causing early failure.

If you absolutely MUST have a spacer lift, go with the aluminum.

Thanks for the info Runner_Ryan. It is really helpful. What "real" lift would you buy then? I don't want anymore than two inches....or maybe 3. i also want a soft ride lift.
