Toyota changed so much in the engine bay and the frame of the 2010 model. The oil filter is now on the bottom, not the top.
The black factory skid plate (not the aluminum one) has to be removed to change the oil filter. I wanted to install the aluminum skid plate from my 2008 onto my new 2010. IT WON'T FIT !!! Toyota showed a oem skid plate on the 2010 TT FJ on toyota's website, but they insist that there is no skid plate for the 2010 model.
Any body got any fabrication ideas for install the 2008 skid plate on the 2010? I know everybody says the oem skid plate is useless for offroading but I don't do a lot of offroading. I just want my bling!!!
