Whatever they call it?
I want to paint the trim piece around the grill. What did you guys do to prep the plastic and what type of paint?

I painted mine white. (The color it should have been from the factory).
All I did was remove the grille part. I think it was a couple screws, then I took some fine sandpaper to scuff it up a bit. Hung it from the celing, then hit it with some white tremclad paint from the housewares dept. at Canadian Tire. It's been painted since about March of 07, has taken many a bug splat, and is still holding up fine.
I highly recommend it.
