No, I havent' had any problems like that. It sounds like a grounding issue, or stray voltage. Personally, I would remove the load resistors and install a flasher unit if it was availible (they are for the FJ and new Toyotas). The load resistors get hot, like blister your finger hot (they are just an electrical short between the + and - lines for that circuit, if you are not sure what they do, to bump up the resistance so the car thinks there's a bulb in the socket and not a LED that has almost zero resistance). The flasher unit is less than $20 shipped too! Good luck

I take it you only need one flasher from what I have read?

The flasher unit is located on the back side of the fuse panel that is located by your left knee when you are driving. Depress your hazard warning indicators and feel for the unit behind the panel, and you'll find it.

I tried replacing all the lights and the flasher module and had no luck. When the turn signals were on both arrows would light up on the dash and the lighting in the dash would do funky things (it would flash as well). I left in the brake lights and took everything else out. What an ARSEPAIN!!
