I just got a call from my dealer here in Honolulu, HI telling me that my silver FJ, Package 2, Convenience Package, Side Airbags, Running Boards with msrp of $29,600 including destination charge is here.
They claim they are still on back order, and being that one company sells all the toyotas on the island of Oahu, it may be true. They say no discount and that all customers are paying MSRP.
Is everyone still paying MSRP in the mainland? What are west coast buyers paying?
I'm going in to pick up the car on Friday at the latest. I have never paid msrp for a car and don't plan to start now. Trying to milk out a roof rack, rubber mats and whatever else I can get from them.
