I agree. The 3" lift with 35's ends up to be pretty big. And I'm used to big trucks.
My truck with the 37's and 3" lift ends up to be 6.5" taller than stock. A 3" lift and 35's would be about 4.5-5" taller than stock.
Just for reference....here's my truck with 3" lift next to a stock truck, if you haven't seen it yet...
