Fellow FJs, I need some advice on tire size. I just recently added a Trailmaster 3" lift/leveling kit to my rig. The instructions say max tire size is p285/75 R16( I have 16 off-road package wheels). Now I want to know if I can fit 33x12.50 on my rig with the stock wheels. I've loosely been told probably, but I am looking for a solid answer. Will 33 rub? From what I understand a p285 is just shy of a 33 anyways, but what about the increased width? Any Off-road masters out there that can advise this newby to the sport?

From everything I've read a 33" or 285/75/r16 or 17 is a go with the with the 3" lift (which I have). But I would be interested in hearing from one of the experts as I plan on going to a 285 or 33" after the first of the new year.
