Nah! i'm not doing the force induction route. CAI and catback and i'm done with performance mods.
I'm just saying, FI and short shifter pretty much goes hand in hand. If FI is questioned of use for the FJ, same goes for the short shift. IMHO of course.

If you read my previous posts, you'll note that I did install this from URD and it was backwards! You will have to drill out the holes on the opposite sides to mate this adaptor to your FJ transmission. It's not a hard job, unless of course you don't have access to a machine shop!
Do yourself a favor if you purchase a short shifter. Buy directly from TRD..Toyota. URD is a third party company processing and selling cheap shit from China.

Yea, and it was a very worthwhile fix. No more slippage into reverse inadvertantly when engaging first and considering the amount of quick trips I often do, it's a pleasure not having the long throw.
