When I get my FJ I am intending on buying it with steelies. I would like to put some aftermarket awesome rims on it but don't know the sizes. I'm not a guru on cars, so I was wondering what sizes would fit on an FJ without any modifications.
Secondly, I would like to lift the FJ, I don't think doing a ridiculous lift would look good on an FJ, so I was wondering where that limit is, from looking good to looking like it's on stilts. I think the limit is around 5" maybe even 3". I haven't come across any lifted FJs so I can't really speak from personal observation.
And then what sizes for rims and such you would suggest.
I don't really understand the x/y/z set up of the tire sizes.
I'm trying to get rid of my newbie status by figuring this stuff out.
