As far as inverters go, I would stick with one that can be moved around (other vehicles, friends, etc). I have a Coleman 400 watt. It came with a 12” cord with plug and the battery hookups. I think I paid $30-$35 for it. It works good and I have run it for 16 hours straight before without any problems. If the cord is not long enough on the appliance I would get an extension cord for the 12V plug. You could also install a 12V plug in the back.
