hey... i have the basic stereo (6 pack) and i put the speakers in the back pillars. the stereo does have the juice to run them, but you need to buy the speaker grills so its not just a solid pannel... otherwise they are rather quiet. but once you put the proper grill over them, they make it like surround sound. Keep in mind they are only tiny speakers.
