so I called the toyota dealership and and asked for the parts department. I wanted to ask them how much a-trac would cost to get and how much it would cost to install. (side note i already have it and i installed it myself) I was just really curious to see what they would say because it only cost me $50. and they first didn't know what a-trac was i had to explain it..traction control for the tires blah blah blah.. the conversation went something like this. " hi i was wondering how much it would cost to get a-trac and then get it installed? (the dude) "a-trac uhh whats that?" uh hold on one sec." "i am sorry mam, you cant get it installed, your fj cruiser has to come with for it be on your car."

They actually don't know. I went in to buy the button, and told me the same thing. I then explained how it all worked (in detail because I know a thing or two) and they still told me it won't work. Told them I wanted the button anyways, and they wouldn't sell it to me unless I signed a thing saying it was prepaid and non returnable. I really hate stealerships sometimes....
