I was getting 19-20 when I bought it. Now with the cold airintake, my milage went down to 17. But when I put the TRD exhaust on, I went back up to 21 to 22, on average.

I have over 26K on mine now, runs great. I use syn oil Mobil 1, with K&N oil filters.

E85 capable engines must be specifically designed to run on both gasoline and OR E85. The manufacturer must explicitly say that the engine can burn both fuels. GM uses a yellow gas cap on all its new vehicles that can run on one or a combination of both fules.

Unless Toyota comes out with an anouncement, DO NOT fill your FJ with E85.

The Engine Can... its the Fuel Pump that needs to be changed... check out GMs SUVs... same engines... different fuel pumps for E85 compatable... the engine in the FJ could possibly be an E85... Toyota would just need to configure the Fuel system.

Quote: have 4x4 Manual and every time i fill up my tank, reset my trip counter and do the math i came up with the same result. I'm getting arround 10 MPG ONLY! i guess it should be that the manual is 4x4 all time and the way i drive it. But it's kind of expensive the gas for me!

Dont forget... when that Gas light is on... you still have about 3-5 gallons left in the vehicle... tis a 19 gallon tank... the gas light comes on for me at times... i run in another 20 miles... then fill it up and I still can only fill it with 16 gallons..
