Yea I agree with you, I never let the dealer put stickers on my vehicles.
I've never had so much as a bumper sticker on any vehicle.
For some reason though I feel different about this decal though.
I'm getting one for sure.

I love the new decal. Gotta order one!!! Oh, talking about dealership advertising, the manager offered me a free tire cover while I was waiting for my FJ to get detailed. After a week of waiting, I found out it was the dealership version, not the genuine Toyota one. So I complained to the manager that I waited eagerly for the genuine one and got disappointed when it was not it. He offered me a free detail and a full tank of gas in addition to the tire cover, but I stuck with the original deal. So the next day, I received the genuine one. They look much better.

I am proud to know that the first purchase of this sticker on ebay was made by me this morning. Hooray for me.
robotchef: I totally agree with you on the sticker thing. I've never had so much as a license plate frame on any of my vehicles. But for some reason my FJ looks like it needs a tiny bit of pizazz. It must be because I'm getting older or something...I don't know. I really do like how the new sticker looks, however. I've even ordered personalized veteran plates; something I never would have considered 5-10 years ago. Call it a cry for attention (or maybe a cry for help), but I think the new sticker is going to look cool on the back of my FJ.

mmm, I ried to pick up a couple this morning and they are no longer being offered on eBay. This kinda makes sense, since the guy would have to have a running auction on them and I am sure the fees would start to pile up!! Anyone know how/where to get them now that they aren't on ebay??

Well, I had my money refunded (from the ebay seller) with an excuse stating that there was not enough interest. Which happened to be a good thing because I was just about to complain to the seller about not receiving the sticker almost two weeks after I had ordered it.
Not such a bad thing, really... Since I didn't appreciate the way the transaction was handled, I no longer have much interest in the sticker. Anyhow, I put a Toyota Land Cruiser Association sticker where I was going to put the fjcruiserowners.com sticker, so no big loss. Just to be clear so that I'm not accused of any "smack talking," my money was refunded in full. As someone who runs a business, I just don't subscribe to the tactic of selling something before it exists.
After a bit of looking, I've found that the items in the F.J.C.O Merchandise section of the Main Menu have been revised to show the new, better looking logo.
Sorry, admin, if my post sounds negative. It isn't meant to be personal. You have provided a nice forum from which people can share and learn and that trumps any minor issues, and I'm very appreciative of your ongoing efforts.
Best regards,
streebeck
