To look at someone else's profile, click on the little head icon under their name on the forums.
To see your own, scroll down and on the far left you will see the User Menu where you can play with your profile.
yeah, the phpbb was exactly what i was thinking of. but clicking on the profile works good enough.

I think a member list is a good is a good idea. Presently when you join up you can provide your yahoo or variousother messenger type screen name, but itis not accessible or viewable to anyone. A page where you can see a list of all members, what city they are in, and perhaps their IM name would be awesome. Who know's how many of us are neighbors! The semi local people could perhaps have togethers/lunches, caravans to places...
