The FJ needs a larger gas tank. 20, maybe 22 gallon. I'm tired of having to fill up twice a week. Also and this is a gripe from a northener, the snow and ice forms in the pocket behind the spare tire and doesnt allow the rear wiper to operate correctly. Other than these two issues, I love this vehicle.

I agree, I'm pretty sure someone here has info on a larger custom gas tank. And I also have to clear the snow from behind the spare, bit of a pain but worth it for the fun of the FJ.

Here is an auxiliary tank that transfers fuel to the main tank as needed. Costly though and not certified for on road use. I don't know what that means though, I know lots of guys in Texas that run tanks built into their toolboxes on their pickups. www.man-a-fre.com/fjcruiser/fjcruiserauxiliarytank.htm

I definetly agree, FJ needs a way larger gas tank, 15 gal is too small for a serious off road vehicle. there are lots of room in there to have bigger gas tank.
