The electronic stability control is a nice safety feature, but how about a disconnect switch. Sometimes a little tire spin wouldn't kill anybody.

My biggest complaint? I'm in Iraq, and I can buy one of these things until I get back...and then because I live in Germany, I have to order it and wait 4-6 weeks to get it...BUT I do get it tax free.

Had my Trails Edition just 5,000 Kms and love it.
If I have to bitch: agree, need front crossbar on roof rack (duh!); REALLY REALLY need front map lights; skid plate too far away from body; would have liked more diff protection, bigger fuel tank but, worst of all, the cheap Canadian Toyota b4stards made us pay more, but did not give us the special bumper-mounted headlamps or special TRD exhaust that you guys in the US got for less $$$s.
But I love my FJ, despite this. Saving up my cents to buy roof tent and Warn front bumper...

my biggest complaint is people complaining about a perfectly capable off road vehicle!!! all kidding aside, the only thing so far that is really annoying is the transfer case shift lever handle is chattering like crazy!!! it came with custom aluminum trd handles, and gas/brake pedals, and it seems as though the end cap of the handle is loose. is this common?
