We got a pair for our FJ and while they look nice, I wish they would allow the window to open alittle more. You get about a inch to vent your windows.

Also - are these the tape on ones or snap ins? If tape, how well do they hold?

They have a 3m? double sided tape, and stick to the outside of the door. The tape was extremely adhesive wich isn't a bad thing. I'm not sure if you could mount something like this in channel, there's not alot of room there.

Thanks. I have seen these on ebay and was thinking about getting some but was not sure if the tape was going to be sticky enough to handle high speeds...

don't worry about the tape. 3m makes an excellent product. watch the products that don't use 3m tape.
