FJ killer? You're kidding, right?It's not even the same class of vehicle. On many levels. I do think it's funny when I hear FJ people say it lloks just like the FJ, when everyone else says the FJ looks just like a Hummer. They both share very similar design features, like the verticle windsheild, which make them stand out.
But as far as the vehicle itself, I just don't know that GM really has any interest in building a real off road capable vehicle. the H3 has a damn aluminum front diff for christ sake! The joker doing the presentation really has no clue what he's talking about. If he did, he would be talking about gear ratios, HP and Torque, clearance, approach, departure and breakover angles, what type of suspension it has, etc etc. Not things like removeable fender flares or how cool it is that you can record your adventures on your iPod.
Yeh, it's kinda cool. To me, it's fairly reminicant of the fast back Humvee I drove in the Marines, only smaller. I always wished they made a smaller one. But I don't think this thing will meat the same kind of specs as an AM General product. Honestly, I doubt it will come close to the specs of a Jeep product. I suppose we shall see what they do with it. I'll be keeping my FJ though.

I ended up buying an FJ anyway, they said it will be AT LEAST 2010 before the HX comes out, and I can't wait that long, now I just gotta hope it doesnt live up to expectations, so I dont wish I would have waited... lol! BUT I LOVE MY FJ THOUGH, Its the best car I've ever driven!
