By 2010, my FJ will be badder, more capable and more reliable than anything that has come out of GM since 1972. My other vehicle is an Oldsmobile and '72 was the last of the great years at GM!
There are more aftermarket products available for a Toyota than any Hummer models I've researched and this new GM concept vehicle would have a real tough time accommodating my 102 lb yellow lab enroute to the Veterinary with that low rear windshield. Nice if it's a kid's RC, but in reality, this vehicle will be a limited run at best.
Can't beat an already good design, sorry GM, I'll bet my chips on Toyota from here out. Nice look no doubt, but methinks little substance under the skin on this one.
Just my thoughts,
CameraX

I have to agree, it's definetely a bad ass lookin' rig. I'm staying with my FJ though, took it to Hollister, CA and it drove like a dream on climbs and descents, it can handle a lot of challenges, used my A-trac and rear diff lockers for tough stuff. Noticed that the killer Hummer has literally non-existent storage, where do you put the food, tp, esentials for an all day trip? Overall it seems more like a sand buggy, trail it there and home type of vehicle. Love it's looks

OK, it looks really cool, but did you see the picture under the hood?. What a nightmare. One of the best things about the FJ is they stuck to the KISS method. You can actually work on it. I'm staying with my FJ. I hear and I forget. I see and I remember. I do and I understand.

Two words, "Not Happening". Too small, only seats four, no storage, doesn't have a high target audience. Although, I will say that it does look pretty cool.

Concept! Is the key word, G.M. will do anything to boost their image and sales , they are getting a little nervous, all the way from Nascar, to you and me on the street and the back roads. I used to be a Chevy guy all the way, till I seen the 07 VBFJ that we bought, I live in a different world now. We have 40000 on ours now, no interior trim or door handles have screwed up and we haven't been stranded in the middle of nowhere because the annual $500 fuel pump gave out its last gasp with no warning. And its allways nice to get to the top of a trail or mountain and all big 3 guys are bitchin how tough the trail was, we just smile and head over to the next one. Later effjayers!
