Was curious if anyone had any good ideas on how to remove the dealer emblem placed right above the FJ Cruiser emblem on the tailgate without messing up the paint? Its smack dab right above the big FJ Cruiser emblem which i think looks awesome and i think it take away from its whole sweet look. Thanks!

I used a razor blade but you have to be careful. I rounded the corners and buffed the cutting edge a little on a bench grinder to reduce the chance of gouging the paint. What ever residue was left I removed with acetone. Also, I've heard there is a rubber wheel that attaches to an electric drill that works really well. You can pick one up at an auto body supply shop. I think it costs around $30. Of course the razor is cheaper but requires more skill.

Heat gun, bug and tar remover. Then wax the area when you are done. I wouldn't use a razer blade...way too dagerous.

I did not get on on mine, I told them that if they wanted to put one on they would have to pay me, I don't advertise for free. Actually I told them that if they wanted to give me the truck for free, they could put any advertisements on it they wanted and I would drive it all over for two years like that . Cheaper than an agency right?
